Welcome to my humble shop
I don’t know why I buy as many shooters as I do. I enjoy playing them, seeing the different environments and getting rocked by more bullets than I can keep track of. That last part is also very frustrating so I end up not playing them through to the end. Yet I continue to buy more and more shooters.
That said, Lords of Thunder is pretty rocking. Not just the soundtrack either, the game is incredibly fast paced. Tons of variety with the enemy designs and flight patterns. The levels aren’t repetitive, as there are several cool transitions between different areas within the levels. The game is fairly difficult, partially caused by the fact you can get hit several times by one bullet that you didn’t see coming. It is also somewhat forgiving though, with continues starting you at the area you died in with the ability to shop with the money you earned earlier in the level.
I like it better than Gate of Thunder, and it reminds me of Omega Five, if it was made 15 years earlier.
